What is 430 stainless steel coils?
430 stainless steel sheet is a widely used ferritic stainless steel known for its good corrosion resistance, magnetic properties, and cost-effectiveness. With a chromium content of 16–18%, it provides excellent resistance to oxidation and mild atmospheric corrosion.
Unlike austenitic grades such as 304, 430 does not contain nickel, making it more affordable and magnetic—ideal for applications where strength and appearance are important, but high corrosion resistance is not critical. It is also easy to form, polish, and fabricate, making it a preferred choice in industries such as home appliances, architecture, automotive trim, and kitchenware.
