On May 16, 2025, the Ministry of Planning and Finance of South Korea officially issued Order No. 1126, announcing that it would continue to impose anti-dumping duties on some stainless steel coils originating from mainland China, Indonesia and Taiwan for a period of five years. This measure is a continuation of the final ruling of the first sunset review of the anti-dumping ruling in 2021, which means that related export companies will continue to face high tariff barriers in the next five years.

This anti-dumping duty applies to flat-rolled products of stainless steel with a thickness not exceeding 8 mm, covering multiple Korean customs tariff numbers, including but not limited to:

Price commitment mechanism

Background Review
