Hardness of 420 Stainless Steel sheets
The 420 grade is ductile in its annealed state, but it can be hardened to Rockwell Hardness (50HRC), the highest of all the grades with 12 percent chromium. The best corrosion resistance can be achieved by hardening and polishing the surface.
